Halloween Ideas

I'm still working on organizing my room and I think I will never find a place for all my crap. Whoever thought of the phrase, "A place for everything and in its place" must not have had a lot of stuff. I bought some photo boxes at Joann for $2.99 to store my sewing notions: thread, needles, elastic, measuring tape, buttons, etc. They fit perfectly in the bookcase and makes the shelf look neat and tidy.

While I was there, I picked up a flyer that showcased some Simplicity and McCall's patterns. There's also coupons, good until October 31st, that would help you save lots on your costume:

Hancock has 50% off Halloween costume collection fabric until Sept 27.
Check out their Halloween Headquarters for costume patterns, feather boas (you can't have too many of these), accessories, masks and project ideas. They even have project ideas for yarn wigs.

It's easy just to go pick out a costume at the party store but just think how many people are doing the same thing. With the use of accessories, you can get a cut of fabric and make a unique costume.
